Privacy Policy
AIGentic ("we", "us") is an AI automation consultancy based in Auckland, New Zealand. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and our AI Agent, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and — where it applies to visitors in the UK/EU — the UK GDPR and GDPR.
- Talking or typing to our AI Agent works without any tracking — that part is the service you asked for.
- Analytics, the long-lived
visitor_idcookie, device fingerprinting, and identifying your organisation from your IP address are off by default and only run if you click Accept on our cookie banner. You can change your mind at any time. - We respect your browser's Do Not Track setting — if it's on, none of the optional tracking runs.
- Your conversation transcript is stored in your own browser so you can resume it; we also keep a server copy to improve the service.

The optional cookie and the fingerprint are not set unless you accept the cookie banner.
3. How we use your information
- To run the conversation with our AI Agent and let you resume it.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it (only with consent).
- To identify which organisations are interested in our services so we can follow up (only with consent).
- To respond to enquiries you send us through the contact form.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the service, and only share what they need:
- Anthropic — processes your conversation text to generate the AI Agent's replies (the Claude model).
- ElevenLabs — converts the AI Agent's replies into speech.
- Our hosting/infrastructure — stores the site and conversation records on infrastructure we operate.
Some of these providers are based overseas, so your information may be processed outside New Zealand.
5. How long we keep it
We keep conversation records and analytics for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised, unless we need to keep something longer to meet a legal obligation or resolve a dispute. Your browser-side transcript stays until you clear your browser data.
6. Your choices & rights
- Cookie consent: use the banner, or the Cookie settings link in the footer, to accept
or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing stops the optional tracking and removes the
visitor_idcookie. - Do Not Track: if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we disable all optional tracking automatically.
- Clear your data: clearing cookies and site data in your browser removes your local transcript and identifiers.
- Access or deletion: you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below.
If you're in the UK/EU, our lawful basis for the optional analytics, fingerprinting and IP enrichment is your consent; for running the conversation and answering enquiries it is our legitimate interests / performing the service you requested.

The site is served over HTTPS and access to conversation and analytics records is restricted to authorised AIGentic staff. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Children
The site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, may ask for your consent again.
